The world cluster for luxury bottles for perfumes and spirits, “La GLASS Valley”, includes 65 companies and 7200 employees between Le Tréport and Feuquières but also around Dieppe and Abbeville. So this employment area spreads over 3 Departments and 2 Regions.

In front of the threat of emerging countries, the world cluster for luxury bottles (French association law 1901 gathering the companies of the valley) sets up since January 1st 2008 and with the financial support of the State and the Regions of Haute-Normandy and Picardy, a new plan based on four additional axes : fame, innovation, human resources, industrial heritage.

Its Board of directors is representative of the various activities (founders, mould makers, glassmakers, sorters, decorators, artists/craftsmen and complementary activities) and includes 15 majority companies and especially the 4 bigger glassmakers : SAVERGLASS, SGD, Verreries POCHET et DU COURVAL and also Verreries BROSSE.

The institutional financial partners are members of the board and also the DRIRE and the Regional Councils of Haute-Normandy and Picardy which contribute to equal part to the financing of this world cluster. The operational partners also have a place in the cluster : CCI du Littoral Normand-Picard, Seine-Maritime Expansion, CCI de Dieppe, CDIF (Club of the French Industrial Districts).

Valérie TELLIER, Chairwoman reelected unanimously on June 16th 2008 for 3 years, is CEO of Val Laquage and Inserdeco’s companies. William VARRALL is the General manager.
